Compact IO-Link master modules with eight multifunctional master ports are the most intelligent way to connect IO-Link devices. IP67 rated fieldbus modules are an important component in decentralized installations. They replace complexly wired and expensive terminal boxes.

Combine these modules with our selection of IO-Link hubs and analog converters to increase your flexibility while minimizing hardware costs.

In addition to pure process data (I/Os), the new Pro modules also provide secondary extended diagnostic data (voltage, current and temperature values) for both the respective ports and the entire module. This allows anomalies to be detected and the actual process to be optimized via data analysis. With the help of OPC UA, this can be done completely without a controller using a standard protocol.

IO-Link I/O Modules

Extention modules for connecting digital sensors and actuators

With IO-Link I/O Modules you can easily connect multiple digital sensors and actuators to a single IO-Link master port using a standard sensor cordset.

In combination with Murrelektronik’s IO-Link masters, MVK Pro and IMPACT67 Pro, the IO-Link hubs help to minimize downtimes in machines and systems. Individual channel diagnostics are automatically transmitted to the control system. No configuration required. If an error occurs, only the affected channel of the hub is switched off. The new, multifunctional DIO models with up to 16 channels give you maximum flexibility.

Modular I/O systems

Cube20 is a centralized IP20 I/O station with modular function modules and the ability to connect direct to Cube67 modules. The compact modules have a high signal installation of up to 32 channels in one module. This significantly reduces the wiring efforts in the cabinet. Up to 488 I/O points in a width of only 90 centimeters helps to save space in the cabinet.

Murrelektronik's modular Cube20S I/O system expands the field-tested Cube family with another IP20 product line with many features. The compact modules are only 12.9 millimeter wide. Thanks to their modular design they can be easily, quickly and individually connected – the integrated backplane bus connects the modules to power and data.

Cube67 is Murrelektronik’s award winning, modular fieldbus system. It can be customized to meet the specific requirements of an installation solution. Cube67 is characterized by its single cable technology, multi function modules, flexible installation methods and robust, potted circuitry. The unique single cable module connection transfers both power and data from a single bus node to connected modules simplifying installation.

Machine Option Management (MOM): Machines and systems often differ only in their options. With the Machine Option Management (MOM), hardware and software are confiugured once, based on a stadardized maximum configurration. To simplify setup, the MOM recognizes the option installed and activates the modules required.

IP67 Rated: The unit is dust-tight, tamper-proof and protected against temporary immersion which is defined as spending up to 30 minutes in water that's 1m deep.

Change the bus not the system: Installation concepts based on Cube20 and Cube67 can be easily integrated into higher level fieldbus systems with a single bus node. Machine modules can remain the same across multiple platforms and adapted to different protocols by swapping only the one bus node as needed for a different protocol.
