Shelter for Brazilian childrenCasa do Zezinho in São Paulo
We have been supporting Casa do Zezinho in São Paulo since it was founded in the 1990s. The home is a shelter for 1,500 Brazilian children from the poorest backgrounds. It provides education and supports the children in discovering and developing their skills and potential.
Regional handball clubHC Oppenweiler/Backnang
Since 1982 we have been the main sponsor of both the HC Oppenweiler/Backnang handball team and TV Oppenweiler 1911 e.V. The largest sports club in our home community plays an important role for the local community, including many of our employees.

Sustainability is an integral part of all Murrelektronik products and services, ensuring future-proof automation and a reduced carbon footprint. The implementation of efficient, regenerative electrical systems is a key element in replacing consumptive compressed air. The system installation has been optimised to meet the required specifications for components. The latest systems can seamlessly incorporate older machinery, ensuring smooth and effective integration.

For many years, we have been committed to a sustainable approach, with a focus on product quality and long-lasting solutions. In accordance with lean principles and continuous improvement processes, our company is dedicated to prioritising customer benefits. A group-wide sustainability strategy is currently being developed and integrated into the existing corporate strategy. Our long-term corporate vision therefore includes the aspect of fully considering sustainable values as the basis for our business activities.

We fulfil our due diligence obligations by working closely with our partners to gain insights into the supply chain and track the movement of goods. We can leverage our strong market position in automation technology to identify and resolve potential issues promptly and efficiently.
Murrelektronik is committed to responsible and sustainable corporate governance. Our corporate governance is based in particular on the principles of ecological, social, and ethical behavior set out in this Code of Conduct. We adhere to international agreements as well as national laws and regulations.
Our core principles serve as the foundation for our collaboration with business partners, particularly suppliers and service providers. In doing so, we take into account the different conditions under which our business partners have to operate. We are aware of the specific challenges faced by smaller partners in particular. We provide ongoing support to our business partners to help them enhance their practices where necessary, ensuring they comply with all our principles.
The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, or LkSG for short, created an important legal foundation that regulates corporate responsibility for human rights compliance in global supply chains.
