For a single camera: One-Cam Connect solution
Hands-free scanning solutions are a common use case in logistics. Our One-Cam-Connect solution eliminates the need for manual single-wire wiring. Thanks to IP67 protection class, pre-assembled cables, and robust industrial connectors, the power supply and connection block can be connected quickly and securely — for a camera that is ready to read immediately.
For multiple cameras: 4-port unmanaged switch
At a reading station, two cameras sort the packages according to size and space requirements using barcodes and measurements. The unmanaged switch and the cameras are supplied with power via a decentralized power distributor with integrated fuse protection.
Thanks to the daisy chain option, additional components / devices can be quickly and seamlessly connected to both devices. Direct mounting of the modules on the machine and standardized, pre-assembled connectors enable quick installation and expansion.
Powerful all-in-one solution: Hybrid Managed Switch
When controlling a robot, space and weight on the robot arm are limited. Special requirements for torsional strength and bending radii for cables must also be taken into account during planning. The hybrid managed switch offers an efficient and economical complete solution for camera communication and power supply. Up to four cameras can be connected to one module at the front of the gripper. The complex wiring through and along the robot is reduced to two cables. (The use of standardized connectors per camera makes connection quick and easy.)
Easy to scale: Daisy chain with the all-in-one solution
The 360° scan of luggage requires an efficient connection of many cameras. The hybrid managed switch allows up to four cameras to be installed per switch, directly at the scan tunnel. The switch supplies the cameras with power, transmits the trigger and encoder signals, for example, and ensures communication. Thanks to the daisy chain option, additional cameras can be connected. Industrial I/O modules enable process visualization from the field to the cloud through their interfaces. This solution reduces wiring effort, saves space in the control cabinet, and has been proven to lower costs.
